THE FOUNDATION IS BEING LAID FOR THE FIRST PRODUCTION FACILITIES IN THE BIOTECHNOLOGY VALLEY.

The foundations for the first production facilities are being laid in the Biotechnology Valley, Türkiye's new science and technology hub, which, upon completion, will be the largest biotechnology cluster in Europe and Asia. Dr. Ercan Varlıbaş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BİYOSAD and BİOSB, stated at the 13th Genetics & Bioengineering Congress, "We are laying the foundations for the first production facilities in our Biotechnology Valley, which will contribute to Türkiye's goals in the field of biotechnology, within two weeks."

Dr. Ercan Varlıbaş, Chairman of the Biotechnology Industrialists Association (BİYOSAD) and the Biotechnology Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (BİOSB), participated as a speaker at the 13th Genetics & Bioengineering Congress organized by the Yeditepe University Biotechnology Society. In his speech, Dr. Varlıbaş highlighted the strategic importance of the Biotechnology Valley, which is rapidly progressing towards becoming a new center of attraction for science and technology in Türkiye. He shared Türkiye's goals and long-term vision in the field of biotechnology with the participants. He also announced that the foundations of the first production facilities in the Biotechnology Valley would be laid within two weeks. Following the highly attended event, a question-and-answer session was held, during which students, academics, and industry professionals directly asked Dr. Varlıbaş questions about biotechnology.
