GENDER EQUALITY POLICY
As the Biotechnology Specialized Organized Industrial Zone, we believe that gender equality is one of the important elements on the path to sustainable development. In this regard, we continue our efforts to eliminate all forms of discrimination in our workforce and to offer equal opportunities to all our employees. We strive to develop gender-neutral approaches in recruitment processes, career development, promotions, work-life balance, compensation, and benefits.
As the Biotechnology Specialized Organized Industrial Zone, we adopt the following principles as a general framework in our Gender Equality Policy:

To carry out activities aimed at preventing discrimination and harassment,
Taking concrete steps in physical and digital accessibility to ensure that everyone has equal access.
Adopting a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of harassment (verbal, physical, sexual, psychological and/or emotional), establishing a communication mechanism for reporting harassment cases, ensuring objective evaluation and appropriate sanctions are applied.
To ensure that every employee has equal access to training and promotion opportunities.
To ensure equal pay for same job positions regardless of gender.
To design and continuously improve an appropriate mechanism so that a gender equality perspective can be reflected in recruitment processes in an appropriate and transparent manner.
To ensure that the principle of gender equality is adopted at all levels of the organization through training, awareness campaigns, and social responsibility projects.
Developing supportive processes to help working parents achieve work-life balance.
To develop approaches to ensure that all stakeholders act in accordance with the standards of the Biotechnology Specialized Organized Industrial Zone in the field of gender equality, to raise awareness among our suppliers in particular within our sphere of influence in a way that will contribute to gender equality, and to develop joint projects.
To play an active role in gender equality initiatives in Türkiye and worldwide, we aim to collaborate and partner with various institutions and organizations, primarily national and international public institutions, and to support projects in this field.

Scope
This policy applies to our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and the local community in the region where we operate.
Implementation of Policy and Related Legislation
This policy commits to complying with and implementing the laws, regulations, and principles applicable within the borders of Turkey. In the event of any inconsistency between the applicable legislation and this policy, the organization acknowledges that the applicable legislation shall prevail.

Entry into force
This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary. The Corporate Communications Department is responsible for updating the policy. The policy enters into force on the date of its publication with the approval of the Chairman of the Board.
